Submicron Grain

EMT 100

6% CO

EMT 100 offers high wear and corrosion resistance and is the best grade for nozzles, chokes and valve components where impact is light to moderate. Used in rotary tooling, sliding wear and fluid handling.

EMT 210

10% CO

EMT 210 properties are similar to EMT 100 and is used for valve seats, stems and wear applications in the presence of moderate impact. Used in rotary tooling, bearings, flow restrictors, shields and is particularly useful where compression strength and transfer rupture strength are critical.

Fine Grain

EMT 409

9% CO

EMT 409 combines high edge strength with wear and temperature resistance. Used for shafts, plungers, spray nozzles and applications where moderate impact is a consideration.

EMT 412

12% CO

EMT 412 is noted for exceptional transverse rupture strength and heightened edge strength. An excellent choice for interrupted cutting, punching and applications where moderate to heavy impact is a consideration.

Ultra-Fine Grain

EMT 609

9% CO

EMT 609 is and ultrafine grade which is extremely hard and wear resistant. Works best in applications with sliding wear and no impact.

EMT 612

12% CO

EMT 612, an ultrafine grade is very hard and wear resistant with a higher transfer rupture strength than EMT 609 and will withstand light impact. Both ultrafine grades can be used for valve components and refinery applications.
